Ethan Bernick talks about his adventure into urban agriculture, and how it betters himself. Urban agriculture includes beekeeping, chickens, and gardening, and you can combine these ideas to create a more self-sustaining garden or backyard. This in turn can benefit yourself, others, and your surroundings.

Ethan lives in Austin, TX and enjoys spending time outdoors and playing music. He is interested in locally sourced foods and likes to grow organic fruits and vegetables, and hopes to one day work in the field of renewable energy.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
