harti shere says:

hey, are stickers made with plastic?

Stella Pappi says:

For notebooks there is also the alternative of ImStone which is a book made of stone and is also waterproof, as well as a digital one which feels like actual paper called reMarkable

Kristina Rashkova says:

Heyyy, I just discovered you and your videos are really helpful. Not trying to be a hater by any means, but what about falsies? Do you have any recommendations on that that are vegan? Thanks in advance!

JessieSamanthaEmily says:

I'm binge watching your videos lately and keep wanting to share ideas more ideas. Yours are awesome! I just wanted to add that a good way to get rid of the plastic pens and pencils you already had! Terracycle paired with Staples and you can drop of pens and mechanical pencils there to be recycled (I googled and the program is only in Canada, but you can buy a box to bring to your office so they can recycle pens once the box is full). Kaysie Hesebeck says:

This was so helpful 💚💚💚

Selina P. says:

there is a product called “rocketbook everlast“. It is a notebook you can use forever. You can wash the pages with water. It is good if someone tends to waste a lot of paper, especially when you're going to university

Adriana Pérez says:

omg I didn't know about the refurbished macbooks… I'm definitely going to replace my laptop with one of these when my old one goes to heaven haha

Little Bean says:

I use pilot juice pens, they're eco friendly. Also I buy more quality supplies that last longer.

Kayla Collins says:

Woodless pencils are the way to go in my opinion. Most art supply stores sell them as singles for about a dollar with ZERO packaging. 🙂

dragontatoes says:

It seems like everyone has a different experience with laptops, because I've had a Dell (not even one of the more expensive) for about three years and it still works fine. I've always absolutely hated mac computers. Finding tech that you can repair is also very important; Apple is on a trend of making their products harder to repair and with poorer staying power in order to drive up purchases. This is part of why I only replace my iPhone and iPod with the same old (used) models.

R3BECCA M says:

What would you recommend for loose leaf paper? I like composition notebooks but I'll be attending college soon and I would like to get rid of the current metal notebooks but I want to use loose leaf paper for notes. So any tips or help.

A Z says:

i don't even have a junk drawer xD

m says:

the first tip was so so good. so many people don't think twice about looking in their own homes before heading straight to target or walmart or whatever else. very cute & useful video

Doe eyed beauty says:

I'm seriously just binge watching all of your videos. You are my favorite zero waste YouTuber!

kissepurr says:

I have a junk room. 😂 😂 😂 . I actually just started it a few months ago and it's filled to the brim. But I started it to get everything organized and this way I don't repurchase anything I already have and we can start going through all the things in the junk room first. It's helped a lot. Saving tons of money and slowly this room will become empty.

sheiliz perez says:

I love your videos. You have honestly inspired me soo much! I actually have made minor swap outs already to become more eco-friendly.

Rebecca says:

Fjall Raven Kanken has backpacks made from recycled water bottles called Re-Kanken! They are more expensive than Jansport but they are amazing and last forever and come in a lot of colours!

Greg Robertson says:

This year I bought a re kanken bag which is made from recycled plastic bottles!

Emily Lasiter says:

Or try a metal mechanical pencil…

Deanna says:

My parents have junk rooms. They are almost hoarders because my dad can't throw anything away that has some sort of memory: good or bad, little or big. It drives me crazy. He tries to be "eco friendly" by reusing plastic tubes but then buys new plastic stuff. I don't get it

Marilee Getgen says:

A quick search online brings up all-metal mechanical pencils. You can skip the plastic AND save some trees 🤓

OhSnapItsCass07 says:

you're gorgeous 😍

Stormey Roth says:

Nope, I don't have a junk room, but I have junk…. Everywhere.

Justine Pouvesle says:

If you want to reconciliate recycled material and very long-lasting backpacks, Re-Kankens are pretty cools for that. They're made from plastic bottles I think ? It's a really thick fabric and there's cool colors. I really love mine ! Also, Eastpacks, they look kinda the same as Jansport I think, I used the same two ones from the last year of primary school until the end high school and they still aren't broken or really worn out ! I just changed cause I needed a poach for my laptop in college, but if it wasn't the case I would still be using them

Donna Dennison says:

I am a teacher and spend way too much on school supplies because I am often supply most of my students with supplies. I absolutely LOVE the highlighter pencil idea! Can't wait to find some of these!

TheUndisciplinedStudent says:

You can buy completely metal mechanical pencils.

Erinn Sawyer says:

I've had the same jansport backpack for about 5 years. I dont see why people feel the need to buy a new one each year if your old one is perfectly useable and not destroyed

Kaitlin Benz says:

Also! Jansport has a lifetime warranty, so they will repair/replace your pack at any point.

Isabel Kleijberg says:

Love this video! I myself already invested in a Sigg bottle, The North Face backpack and stainless steel lunchboxes, each of which I can really recommend.
I do have a junk room, or rather part of a room, which I am planning to clean out entirely. Most of it is either garbage, old school notebooks and files, art projects I've given up on, stuff from my childhood, etc. Most of it can probably go to the thrift store

rebekah fuller says:

Ive been really interested in getting a fountain pen but i have mountains of pens from previous years i have to go through 😭😭
